Health Data for All of Us is an annual public forum that explores a range of topics related to health data access and use in Canada. Our 2025 public forum, Health Data for All of Us: A Public Dialogue on the Role of AI in Health, takes place on April 29 in Ottawa and online. It features leading thinkers, advocates and patient/public partners exploring key ethical, equity and privacy challenges in the context of artificial intelligence and health, particularly health data. We hope you’ll join us!

In 2024, HDRN Canada held our second annual hybrid public forum, Health Data for All of Us: Earning Trust Through Transparency, in Montreal and online. It featured a stellar lineup, including keynote speakers Dr. Antoine Boivin and Farin Shore, along with health data researchers, data equity advocates and patient partners from across Canada committed to building trust among the public in the access, use and sharing of health data. HDRN Canada hosted its inaugural public forum in 2023 to facilitate dialogue about health data access, use and sharing in Canada. Health Data for All of Us: Sharing Ideas & Priorities took place in Winnipeg and online, and featured keynote speaker Rachel Plachcinsky, as well as HDRN Canada Scientific Director Dr. Kim McGrail and other network members, including Dr. Amy Freier, Dr. Nathan Nickel and Julia Burt.
